Last year we had the pleasure of supporting a fantastic band during a tour they were doing to support their new album. We hadn’t seen them play before and I was immediately taken with not only their musicianship and songwriting but their stage presence was larger than life and the way they carried themselves was inspiring. At the time I remember thinking that they were going to have a long career and I looked forward to following their progress. Six months later they broke up after announcing their last ever gig and I was dumbfounded. How could such a promising band unravel so quickly? Of course I wasn’t privy to the inner workings so any number of factors may have lead to their demise but on the surface it seemed just too good a thing to throw away.

As we pass our 5 year anniversary together it made me realise and really appreciate what we have as a band but it also drives home the fact that whilst nothing is forever we really have to make the most of what we have in all aspects of our lives. So, while another promising band disappears from the musical landscape, they inspired us to forge ahead personally and musically. Thank you 'M'.
